Well, first are the most real hits, ie. no contact whatsoever to other person. Second is a hit I got when I sent Finnish coins to other EBT user, I believe it's unmoderated. Third group is notes which were moderated and I think they still are. Not really fakes, I got uncirculated foreign notes from friends in early 2002 and later on gave/"sold" two (from different countries) to some online contact, didn't know he did EBT too so we got two hits and they got moderated.Annie_in_exile wrote:p.s. Finn, what are your three hit categories? You wrote: "1993 notes, 6 + 1 + 2 hits." Interesting hits, non-interesting hits and fake hits? (Sorry, couldn't resist... )

That's weird!querty wrote:You are quite right, but what is esperantisto doing here in this list? Until now the United States isn't Europe.Fons wrote:I think that's because this topic is 'Europe's most unluckiest person' and you're not European.Olivier wrote: I'm not in the table, though I have got any hit yet...

Ok, if you ask me nicely, I'll change the topic. How about "World's unluckiest persons"? Or is it too dramatic?
Annie, in a hurry

Perhaps you should look closer. I'm not commenting on whether those hits are interesting or not (the moderators can take those decisions) but those bills are currently not moderated as uninteresting and that's why you weren't on the list.Olivier wrote:I'm not in the table, though I have got any hit yet...
Ok, for me a hit is when one of your bills have been registered by someone else. Not when YOU register the bills of somebody else... No one registered one of my bills.avij wrote:Perhaps you should look closer. I wonder what is your definition of a hit...
But they all registered YOUR bills... (some only before you knew they were yours)Olivier wrote:Ok, for me a hit is when one of your bills have been registered by someone else. Not when YOU register the bills of somebody else... No one registered one of my bills.

I've written this in the past and I think it still holds: "In my opinion, a hit happens when someone enters a note into EBT without previous knowledge that it has already been entered into EBT by someone else, ie. the hit is natural and spontaneous (exception: notes that have been marked with the EBT URL can be added). If the note was received from a relative or a friend who are EBTers, the note shouldn't be entered again at all. Additionally, there should be a physical contact with that note -- receiving just the serial number and other data from a friend via email is not acceptable. These few rules should cater the most abuse situations (think about it), but the rules can be adjusted slightly if need be. If someone violates these rules, the hit is not a hit as defined by EBT and he/she should be prepared to face the wrath of the moderators. "Olivier wrote:I wonder what is your definition of a hit...
The hit is a hit regardless if you are the person entering the note the second time, or if someone else enters your note the second time.
