Does anyone know what happens when I enter a bill from the Canaries?

I'm new here - and kicking myself for all the missed opportunities. Right now my map is véry boring...

You should try to look for a postal code from the canaries. If you can't find one just enter a couple of ?????. The crew of the website will take care of the note and put a dot on the map in the right place for you.

Actually it was just out of interest, the bills I got on Gran Canaria are long spent - this was back in January 2002 - and I didn't think to write down the serial numbers ...

BTW: I think I'm going to set myself a new goal: fill the map with dots. Starting in my neighborhood of course: when I need money from the ATM, I get in my car and drive some distance so the map will show more dots. :D

Good idea! :) I'm gona try this either! I've now 5 different dots, in 3 country's. Problem is that the dots are quite big, so if you want to generate a new dot you've to drive quite a lot before you're out of you own 'dot-place'...

He-elp! You must be REALLY bored. Next step could be "draw a line from dot to dot and tell us what you see". :P

Yes, I was really bored: I have to learn an exam for tomorrow and I absolutely don´t want to learn for it! :) (So I think it will become late tonight for I know enough about it).

In the Netherlands it looks like a dot is roughlt 40x40 km. I overlayed the borders on the 'all bills' map and there were 5 dots from east to west and that is 200 km.

In Finland the dots aren't much smaller, but higher. I think this is because of the projection of the map that is used. But correct me if I'm wrong...
