I think Aaron means here that only the fake NOTE should be removed,
and NOT that the user should be banned for entering only one fake note!
Of course I don't favour the zero-tolerance policy! But sometimes, as in
the case of _/^-^\_, it is very obvious that he enters mostly fake notes!
In that case I think he should be banned!
I was very angry at the moment I sent the message. Actually I meant the whole account should be erased but now, when I can think clearly again, I think just the fake notes should be erased. Concerning those tw*ts, whose notes are mostly fake, their whole account should be erased, no matter if there are real ones.
It can be written on the rules that if fake notes occur the whole note account will be erased. It doesn't mean that has to be done in every case. If you accidentally enter a wrong number it's a different thing of course.
That triple hit will probably have few hits more soon. It moves in geocaches, which are containers hidden in the nature, and people search these containers using GPS receivers and hints. Check here for more information.
Seems someone put a eurobill in a geocache with a instructions to enter it on this site, and then hide it in another geocache. People do this A LOT with Where's George dollars, and WG.com has actually discouraged trading geocache trading, but it still is generally done.
Although I'm a keen geocacher, I don't like the idea of moving eurobills in geocaches. I'm interested in hits that come only from natural circulation of bills. (For the same reason I don't write EBT url in any bills.)

For completeness I should add that Where's George found a very solution how to deal with this potential problem. See here an example of such a bill. We should not mess with Geocachers as geocaching is in a similar spirit as bill tracking (see the GPS topic in this forum).
"Discourage, don't prohibit" is a realistic compromise and a fair answer to issues that are considered "fake and abuse" by some users and "OK or tolerable" by other users.

I find this idea they've gotten in WG absolutely great. IMO the geocaching "problem" should be handled also here that way. So, admins, make it so that when a note is entered, it can be telled to be a geocaching one. Or of course moderators can do that as well since its quite clear that a note is a geocached one if it moves about 10-100km each time and is entered quite regularly.
When will this user finally be banned!!! He's making me sooo sick
There are more idiots here, but this is absolutely the one who irritates me the most!!

Because he is just a few bills ahead of you I think
But you are absolutely right! This idiot should be banned immediately!
I just sent Philippe an e-mail for an explanation why he hasn't been banned
yet, let's hope he responds...

The Geocaching hit is probably going to get moderated if/when it hits 4 locations. Note that if a note gets moderated it simply means that it's no longer listed in the interesting hits listing, all the existing hits for that note are still available for all those people who view the note report. Some hit classification system would be nice, but since we currently have only a interesting/not interesting classification we'll have to live with that for now.
