Lasse Siro is my (a bit goofy) friend, who I told about EBT several months ago. It seems that at last he tested the service and for the beginning made some sort of mistake. I'm sure he's not trying to fake, he just made some mistake. I haven't seen him for a while, but I'll ask him about EBT when I do see him.

Seems that MaksiM has found today two of brand new bills I left in the downtown earlier today. So please, moderate both of these hits. :?

I don´t know if I remember correclty, but I think you can find these serial numbers on the ECB page. It just happens from time to time, best thing is to ignore it ...

Is there a reason why this hit is still at the list of "interesting hits"? Of course there is a chance that it's a real hit...

Why do you think that those are fake notes? Looks just normal to me...

Strange

Post by Guest »

Look at those visible numbers. Used numbers are 0, 1, 8 and 9.
It is almost impossible that you can get so many similar notes from L- and P-series. This was not the first time, when this sáme user entered notes like these!

Hi, I agree with your concerns, looks like I'll have to take a closer look.

Cuba and Cameroons

Post by janstr »

If you look at the bills for Cameroons, you will find the Austrian cities Wien and Judenburg, and the Belgian city putte. None of the bills was found in cameroons.

These may be accidents (?!), but if you look at Cuba, you will find long lists of apparently identical entries by the misspelled "Che Gevara" . Delete him.

Entries of towns that are obviously not in the posted country are found elsewhere, too. It would be really great is someone had the time and geographical skills to debug some of those.

It /could/ be the first enterer had the note a few days ago and wrote down the serial, then entering it that few days later, just when it was already in the hands of the next person..
